lore and legend of the metaphysical value of Rutilated Quartz gemstone. This is clear or smoky quartz that contains fine thread-like crystals of rutile, titanium dioxide (TiO2). Rutile is a matallic, needle-shaped crystal that can have a remarkable deep red colour. In quartz it is usually straw coloured-a lustrous gold to golden brown.Titanium is a non-corroding, extremely strong and light metal so it is no surprise that rutilated quartz can help to knit togather and strengthen tissues that have been strained or damaged.
